Curious what is the best adhesive to use on weatherstripping for the trunk lid and doors. Appreciate your opinion and thanks.

Hey Trout. I used a product that I think was 3M and was black. It is designed for weatherstriping. Had good luck. Don't over do with the adhesive though. A little does the job.

That is the stuff I use 3M black weather strip adhesive. Clean up any mess right away and a little goes along way.

They make it in Yellow as well , make sure you specify Black , it costs $2 more then yellow but looks way better

Read the original post again. I only used the adhesive on the trunk weatherstripping. The door strip snapped on with the little plastic clips................
