Leaving from Charlotte, NC area?
« on: February 21, 2008 - 03:09:26 PM »
Hey all,
Is anyone traveling through or out of the Charlotte, NC area to Carlisle? I'm not too thrilled about traveling solo for my longest trip with the car.  ???

Hello, and welcome aboard Newbie.

I hope someone can travel with you. It's still early in the game, but hopefully someone will chime in here.

I will try to get some pictures into the "newbie" section this weekend. I don't currently own an E-body so I hope no one will hold that against me.  :swaying:
I haven't decided 100% on my travel schedule yet either, but driving up on Thursday is the tentative plan. Determining how to spend the most amount of time at the show with missing the least amount of work is my challenge.  :blah:

Hi!

I just recently dragged a 440 big block through your neck of the woods.

Unfortunately (Well, for you, not me!) I live here in Harrisburg, so I won't be making that trek again for a while!  Luckily, just about anyone heading up from SC/GA/FL would be coming through I-77, so I'd have to think that SOMEONE will be able to convoy with you.

Regardless, it's not TOO bad of a drive - maybe what, 9 hours or so?  Could be worse.  Hope you can make it up!
