    Need HELP to determin a paint code !

    Hi Guys :sadwavey:
    Can someone tell me what is the proper code for 71 Bright White/Sno White is please.
    I looked up Galens booklet and found that Sno White and Curious Yellow are both list GY3....................... What's going on ? :clueless: :1zhelp:

    GY3 is Curious Yellow / Citron Yella

    GW3 is Brite White / Sno White

    My printing of Galen's booklet shows the correct codes...

    BTW - G = First year color offered (E=69,F=70,G=71,Etc)
             W = Basic color (W=White,Y=Yellow,Etc)
              3 = Color variant (higher numbers are generally darker shades)

     :22yikes: Unreal........... i have Sixth Edition July, 2001  :clueless:  Must of been a typo or overlooked as it is listed as GY3 for Challenger color Bright White along with GY3 Citron Yella aswell :roflsmiley:

    What does a XS29J8 have in the way of engine ?
    I do not have a 68 booklet, only 69 - 71.
    But my guess is XS29 is a Dodge Charger R/T hardtop but do not know what the "J" is, and the 8 would be for 1968 right !

    In 1968 "J" means the Charger R/T is chocked full of 426 Hemi goodness...  :bigsmile:

    Something special about them Charger 500's.................... i really like them a lot, maybe the fact that they are easier to turn into Daytona's. :grinyes:  I like the smoother look of the rear window area on these. :2thumbs: Make sure you slip this one in here with updates of the build buddy. :cooldancing:

    I thought about posting a thread about the C500 in the Restoration Projects section, but saw almost all in there were E-Bodies...

    BTW, while the C500 will remain a Charger 500... I do have another project for the distant future.  :2thumbs:
