frame conn. and ebrake cables

On the 70, its has the long front cable, that goes from the handle to the splitter.  It jogs right across where a frame conn. would weld in.   Do you run the cable under, through or over the 2x2 type?   and if installing the US tool contoured ones, is that more difficult?  maybe adding a sleeve for the cable to pass through?

Also:  YO has the front cable listed for $90....is that the ave price?  I could really use all of them.  who is the best vendor on this one?

One my car I drilled a hole to run the cable thru. You can get complete e brake kits from Hardens.

Don't know about the connectors, but I got all cables but the one the connects to the pedal at NAPA,mine were the other style though but they had much lower price then year one, I did have to get the pedal one from them, couldn't find it anywhere else. Rich.

I just picked up a cable for my 73 at www.rockauto.com.  It was 15 bucks. 

I know the 73s have a different setup and I just checked the site, they have 2 different ones for a 70.  The most expensive is 20 bucks.

I just got some smokin' deals on parts on "closeout" at rockauto.

15/16 Raybestos WCs - $3.23 each., 90" ebrake cable, ~$15,  disk brake hose for my Dart projects, $6 each, rear brake hose for the chally $11, rear dart hose ~$28 (integral splitter block).    even with $20 shipping its better than my local Parts place.

Do you have a pic of where that is? I need to drill mine out and I can't recall exactly where to.

I don't have a picture right now and the car is bagged for primer, but I used a string to to align the cable end to the first point that the cable would mount to.
I did this on my 70 and other years have a different e-brake system, you may want to try it on yours. I can get you a picture if you need it.
