Reel steel wheel prob..???
« on: January 06, 2008 - 01:31:27 PM »

On my '59 I want to go with the original hubcaps, - but they make a lot of noise.. From where they mount to the rims, I think..

Someone told me it could be the steel rims flexing a little coursed to age..???

Any suggestions on what it is, and what to do..???

not nessisarily an age problem , the wheel may have been built to different specs in the 50s & they may just flex , steel is very elastic
