April, the Parts for sale text reads "before you post a car for sale" or soemthing like that. Other than that, looks good to me.

"She'll make point five past light speed. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, and I've made a lot of special modifications myself."

That's great. I think that it is not unreasonable for anyone to include that information.

I also think that we shouldn't do much more than that, otherwise we may start to be perceived as being snobbish by potential newbies. I don't see any problem with people joining just to get rid of stuff. If they have ebody stuff to get rid of, for whatever reason, then who better than us, to get first crack at it. We're all experienced enough to ask the right questions, and know when to buy and when not to. As someone else pointed out, we do it on ebay all the time.

I also though there were a lot of other good suggestions made. For example, I think a commercial section is a super idea. We could build relationships with vendors that would benefit both sides. They would get more business, and we would get better deals and service. Self-policing as well. Whenever we buy something, we just post how we feel about it. The rats would quickly get weeded out, and the good ones would remain. We would know who to deals with, and who to stay away from. Win/Win for all.
