A picture of my Car from back in 1979

This picture was taken of my car back in late summer 1979. I received this picture from my parents while I was stationed over in Baumholder Germany in the 7th Infantry Division.

The car had a front end accident in late 78' and my mother sent me the picture to show the new sheetmetal work that was done to it. When I received the picture, I took it over to the PX store and blew up a copy of it. I kept that picture on the wall for all the 4 years while I was in the service.

Cool! When I'm on deployments I like to draw 'cudas and do different renderings. My budies think I'm wierd for having my nose in car books all the time too.

I still have the hood and the lower valence. Thet were NOS new stuff then. On the inside of the hood the paint peeled off where the factory inventory sticker was. It's still a super nice hood in perfect condition.

I have only 1 photo of my first Cuda, and its a pretty crappy photo too.  I used to beat the crap out of that car but it never occurred to me that it wouldn't be around forever. Oh to be young and stupid(er) again!

Can you see the car behind it? Its a 79 Copper colored Pacer X. It was brand new then. My Step Dad bought it recently after this photo was taken. What was he thinkin?
