Goody, any way to get cool outside air is the best way to go, nothing wrong with your setup at all.  I like the creativity of it for sure!  Plus, the lean burn sticker has got to add power, or at least you could tell all yer buddies that!

 Thanks, the '318cu i 200hp' decal makes the most power  , its about 274rwhp but thats not too far i guess

      Goody, that is a good setup and you should notice a slight improvement,     the snorkle going to the front is large enough and should supply enough cool air for any street motor.       As mentioned with the air cleaner lid reversed it also upsets the air flow to the carby, keeping the lid up the correct way gives freer air flow, the higher the lid the better.

Thanks guys for the input and help, much appreciated. After some thought and decision making I have decided to keep Lucy stock. I think the sound benefits I may gain will be slight to none at all and not worth messing up the pretty close (90-95%) to stock appearance we have under the hood. If I want sound that is really loud I'll drive Madeline with the cut outs open lol. I want Lucy to remain all class.
