Power Steering Box Rebuild
« on: January 16, 2008 - 05:14:50 PM »
Are there any recommendations for having my Steering box rebuilt? Hopefully someone in California, but doesn't have to be. Thanks

I always use Firm Feel out of Washington, but others have had good results with Steer & Gear too.

Very nice looking.

I'm staying with power steering; I've got the original box (which needs rebuilding due to age/wear) and a 1988 Diplomat (police) box in excellent shape (with the little cooler attached).

If I go with the original my current plan is a Firm Feel rebuild (as long as they're still recommended when I can actually afford to get it done).  However its a restification so I'm leaning towards just using the police box.
