I can't find anything attractive about Opera windows on a Cuda.
It reminds me of those Ford LTD opera windows stuck on em.

Ford parts belong on Fords and Mopar parts belong on Mopars.

:eek7:  can`t say I like the Frod looks on that one, but if you go with these windows at least go in style with fullsize chrome sidepipes and louvres in the decklid  :ylsuper:   :bigshades:

I cant wait to see the dealer hand out for this one, how about just using the Cheech and Chong method and magnetize a fake window there so you dont regret hacking up your car?  :roflsmiley:

I must say not my favorite option either.  I haven't seen any in person but these aren't the first pics I've seen.  The few familiar with them all seem to have different recounts, so maybe it was a dealer option, though I dunno why dealers would have even messed with something like installing windows in cars.  Plus I would think it to weaken the structural integrity, not that many people thought about putting these cars on their roofs back then.

I'd be interested in seeing more pics too, but I know you're workin' on it.  :)

How about treading a little more lightly!! This is the car that started my love for the Cuda. I gave the pics to my friend who is a photographer and has a scanner today. Once he e-mails me the pics I'll post them.

Just take pictures of the pictures with a digital camera instead of waiting for a scanner. It's quick, easy, and just as good quality for a post. Stop keepin us waiting.

Sorry Barry, I don't have anything for Barracudas but this kind of stuff was quite common on the era. Sin Bins (custom vans) were just starting to be a craze at the time so things like this happened. Here's an ad I have for a dealer created model called the Satellite Scepter.
