Old AM radio and faceplate

I know its not an e-body radio,but I was curious of what this might go to?Early A-body maybe?It has mopar embossed in it,and says Plymouth Transaudio on the face.On one side model#228

I'm not much help here, but it is at least as old as the mid-1960's. You might be right about the first generation Cuda's.

I can't see the whole radio case.  I have seen the same style radio in 64-66 Furys.  They were in the Abodys also.  The case shape would determine what it came out of.

I guess we should have Googled it first.  Mr. G's shows it as a 66 Valiant/Barracuda bezel.  Radio is probably from the same car.
