running 73 ralley challenger cheap
« on: February 08, 2008 - 06:39:33 PM »
One of our members here has a very good running solid challenger he needs to unload. He bought my 74 challenger off me and needs some cash for a medical problem his family is experiencing.  I will give you a number if your interested and he is emptying his pm messages now since his message box is full.

73 ralley challenger. 340 727 console 8 3/4    the engine is gone but it has a performance built new 318 in it's place now with very little miles. It needs a higher stall or a smaller cam. The trans has a stock coverter. The floors are absolutely rust free. a couple a tiny pin holes in the trunk. It doesnt need quarters fenders or doors, it's all good metal. It will need body work, but no metal replacement.  The car has a brand new complete fuel system all factory stuff. Many things had been done to this car and has some extra items I believe that may go with it like legendary seats and stuff.  I feel it is a good buy for  6k and he may work on you with that. The car wouldnt be forsale if it wasnt for the need for medical. I talked him out of selling the 74 he got off me.

You could PM v8440  his name is Neil. He can send pics if you want them by email He lives in Montgomery Alabama. If you want a driving e body project and dont have a bunch of money to spend, this may be what you need. The car was yellow and white interior

Yeah, the under shots are just surface rust. it never had undercoating from the factory in these spots. No salt on the roads in the winter. It really is a good deal.

I would love to have it.  Just don't have the cash right now.  I hope to find another Cuda while I am gone overseas as well.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Sorry to hear about the problems. Id love to take the Car off his hands and even throw in a "tiny" trade with it. id like to offer 4-5k as soon as i get my bonus and add my 87 Trans Am into the mix. now this is a tentative  offer.  I have yet to get my reenlistment bonus but i have reenlisted. So I will be getting the money but i have yet to decide on if i want a Cuda or a Challenger. Lemme know what you think.
