I agree and disagree at the same time. If not for me controlling how much I drove my Cuda, I know that it would not be here today.
By that, I meant that at least he isn't afraid to drive it. I didn't mean that it had to be driven all the time. When mine is running, I doubt I'll put more than 2,000 miles a year on it. With gas at $3.00+ a gallon and an 8-10 mpg 440, I wouldn't be able to afford to drive it every day. That's why my daily driver is an '87 Civic hatch getting 28-30 mpg instead of my '94 F150 getting 12 mpg.
I personally have no use for million dollar cars that are garage and trailer queens, no matter how rare. I understand protecting your investment, but if you can't drive it, it's just art. Others may have a difference of opinion and I'm glad they're out there to keep the really rare cars alive. I just couldn't do it. Than again, maybe I'd think differently if I had that kind of money to spend.
