Hey - at least I asked before running out and buying it.  Sheesh.  Can't I just mourn in peace?

Hey 73 - you must have a guy near you that restores dashes in newer cars for the car sharks (dealers). I found a fellow here in Calgary that does that and he restored my POS dash pad for $300. Now it looks like brand new and he has done show cars the same way. So ask at your local dealers. That way you get the pad that fits and it will look like new again. Big plus is not having to fart with the VIN tag as many have said that is illegal in most states.

That is good then.  Just do not like the caps myself.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development
