St. Catharines boy missing
« on: January 19, 2008 - 11:59:29 AM »
Hi

The subject line pretty well describes the thread. I don't know how to add a link but if you Google "Louis Toner" all the information and pictures are there. He's 14, 130lbs and at 6' 1" he should stand out in a crowd. I guess I'm more reaching out to Niagara/Toronto Ontario members as I don't believe he has papers to cross into the US.

Louis is one of my 15 year old son's best friends; he misses him a lot and is quite stressed over this. Jonathan has been questioned by police, interrogated by detectives, has gotten ill and missed 2 days of school so far. Not only has this taken a toll on him but obviously, on all of Louis's family and friends. They are good friends of mine and my ex-wife's, the grandfather even called me this morning to help in any possible way. Prayers for his safe return home are very welcomed. I don't know what more to say, thanks for anything anyone can do.

Sorry to hear of Louis missing and all the  issues your son is having.  This must be extremely tough on everyone.  The police/media is doing what they can for Louis but make sure (And I'm sure you are.) stay focused on your son's problems.  I'll ssay a prayer for the situation.  :angelwings:

Hope everything works out.

Certainly a sad and difficult thing to deal with as family and friends. The young man is good sized for that age, so it seems obvious he's been physically forced to go, that alone should have cused some attention if anyone had been nearby? We will be thinking of this situation, and for your son's well being too.

Wow, April you got that info before me. I just got off the phone with my ex and she passed that news on to me and I was going to give you all an update.

Thank God this is finally over. I doubt the family will disclose the reason behind him leaving, they'll probably just want to keep it in the family

Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts from everyone on this board.

Yep, we're all relieved and Jonathan feels much better, now he can consentrate on his upcoming exams.

Even though Louis planned this, anything could still have happened. The
latest "rumors" are, that since the only personal item he took was David Suzuki's autobiography, he wanted to hear him speak at the University of Toronto and/or in Ottawa but his parents told him he couldn't go. For those that may not know, David Suzuki is a famous Canadian environmentalist. Thanks, once again, for all the interest and support.
