For whatever reason, my backup lights will not come on. I've narrowed the problem down to the switch staying open in reverse, but it tests out okay. It seems like the valve body detent is depressing it in all positions, but the neutral safety switch works fine still. The detent looks like the correct one for my car too. I swapped in another switch and it does the same thing, so I am pretty sure it is indeed a valve body problem. I dont know what else to try except maybe grinding down the switch contact, but then I think the lights may be on in all positions. This is on a 904 trans with a CRT valvebody, if anybody has any ideas it would be a great help. Thanks again! -Dan
