Hoodclearence

 Any suggestions for a aircleaner that will fit  a 440 with eddy RPM
 manifold on a -68 Charger?  :clueless:

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

 Found a filter which is 2" instead of the 3" coming standard with the
 MP aircleaner. Would that be a problem, engine getting enough air
 since I don't plan to do any racing and therefor don't need maximum output
 or doesn't that hang together?  :clueless:

14 " drop base K&N with a filter top should fit fine

Speaking of hood clearance, I'm having an issue. I recently replaced my 318 with a 340 topped off with an Air-Gap instake and Holley 670 Street Avenger with electric choke and now have almost no hood clearance.
My '72 Barracuda has a flat hood. Any recommendations on a drop base air cleaner assembly that will clear the choke?

I have a K&N air-filter if you don't mind aftermarket. It's a 1 1/4" drop-base. Item #KNN-66-3040. You have a choice of a chrome, black, red, or blue lid. This is from Summit racing.
