Thanks for all the feedback guys- It seems like the mechanical stuff tops the list around here. I will post more photos when it comes out of storage in the spring.
apederso2-----The only numbers on the car that match are the cowl, VIN and Title
the car was born a Barracuda, but is being transformed to be more like the real 440 6bbl Cuda I had after high school - only nicer than that one was. I intend to drive it the way I drove that one, and it didn't make sense to spend numbers matching money on something that will only be on a trailer when I break it. I have restored numbers matching cars with stuff like NOS ball joints and dated hose clamps and love those kind of cars too.
1BADFISH------The car already has the black tailpanel and other emblems and stuff but building a brand new 70 Cuda just the way I want it gets expensive pretty quick. Because the car is currently like new and completely useable, I need to pick and choose a little bit as I add the finishing touches. It is sometimes tough to explain to the wife why I need to take it apart again and spend more on it. I'm sure most of you can relate.
