hi guys, i think this is my first post (i've been reading the forum for a while, and have tried unsuccessfully to post before)

i have a question regarding lowering the torsion bar front end of my cuda.
does lowering the car affect the sprint rate of the torsion bar? ie: the lower you go the softer they get.
i had a mate tell me this, but i'm not 100% sure because as far as i can see the adjustment bolt changes only only the
position/angle of the end of the torsion bar in relation to the LCA.  as opposed to setting preload.
so it seems to me that within reason changing the ride height shouldn't affect spring rate.

is this the case?

i am about to stick new wheels and tires on the car which will make it ride higher, and plan to drop the front a bit to get
the stance right. but the front end is pretty soft as it is now so if lowering it more will make it softer i'll have to look at other
options to drop it.

You are basically correct , the bar has the ssame spring rate , altering the load will only have a very slight difference
 make Sure you take the load off Before unding the T bar adjuster bolt though , it could strip & land on you if you do not do this
