you really don`t want a Dana do you ?
Stroker, are you trying to talk yourself into a Dana or out of one?
If you are not going to race the car just keep the 8.75 until it gives you issues.
if all you are doing is street racing and never get it to a sticky track and start cutting sub 1.5 sixty foots you will be okay for quite awhile.
The softer pro gears will save the rear from the shock loads, but do not last on the street.
Nitrous, stick shift, Danas...sounds liek you have a lot of ideas and expenditures planned.
the through bolts on that aluminum rear make it stronger than stock housings, but you do an aluminum rear to save weight. if you think you need it for strength get the Dana or a 9 inch(forgive me) now.
