Just took the advice of the many contributors on this site who have recommended headlight relays and found it very easy and very inexpensive to do it. The relays were under $4.00 each at the auto parts store, and the wire and connectors brought the whole project up to about $13.00. It seems like such a no-brainer to try to minimize the current going through a 35 year old bulkhead connector when $13 and a couple of hours can save you from a big electrical mess at the bulkhead or under the dash sometime down the road (or sometime, literally, down the road). If you haven't put your relays in yet, be sure to put it on your list, near the top.
