Those are pretty good mate!! Is he able to replicate the wood used in real pistol grip handles from the E and B-Body cars (at a cost)? I'd be interested in two, one in black, the other in simulated wood grain. I guess I can use reproduction top plates for the shift pattern? This is for a 6-speed.
Thanks for the photos mate. This guy should advertise, he get a bit of work.
Hey Carl,
He only has the one at the moment but i can put an order in with him to make another one for you if you would like. He is an older gentleman who just likes to be left alone most of the time. He likes face to face conversations most and appreciated the visit today. He only has these in brown, they can easily be painted to what ever color you want, what you see is what you get from him though.
But if you need simulated wood painted i would be able to do this aswell as the painting of the Black handle - Black one is straight forward, bit of an art to painting wood grain though. Just let me know what you want to do and if you have ordered the Hurst stick yet and dimensions of the bends needed.
I always find it best to make what you want out of heavy cardboard for templates.
