What is the BEST source for Dodge Dart Parts?
« on: January 31, 2008 - 05:29:43 PM »
Hey All,

Here at the Chrysler dealership we have a customer who purchased a 1967 Dodge Dart IN1967 from our Dodge dealership.  She recently failed inspection because of a cracked taillamp and reverse lamp lense, and I have been charged with the challenge of locating parts for her vehicle because, well, I'm "Mr. Mopar" around here.  (Another guy simply calls me "Cuda.")

So I'm curious what the best sources besides Ebay or Craigslist might be to find these parts.  My first goal is to find them, and worry about price later, plus, how the heck we're going to bill her...

Any tips or leads are appreciated.  I know Ebay is a good source but I can't wait for auctions to end and don't have time to be sniping, all that kinda stuff.  Looking for other options first.

Thanks.

I say that the dealership should make a gift of it to her. :2cents:  Probably get good press for it as well.

It's a long shot, but this gets the word out to salvage yards.

In all reality............ it is just a taillight lense and reverse lense.

Simply go to Year one or the Paddock.  They will have all you need Jeff old buddy. :2thumbs:

Year One doesn't have them for the 67 - only 68.  The other advisor already called them.

And if you knew my dealership, you'd know that the "gift" idea would never go over.  Not this place - greediest bunch of bastards I've ever met!

Thanks for the links.

You'd think if someone bought the car 40+ years ago and still brings it in for service that it would make good news for the dealership, think of the free advertising they'd get!  What would the tailight cost a couple hundred tops and I bet 1 of their Ads in the paper is much more than that.  They would get pictures and everything with the right contact at the papers. :2cents:
