Gary Dourdan - CSI - Green Charger from West Coast Customs
« on: January 30, 2008 - 02:04:52 PM »
Has anyone seen the show that airs from West Coast Customs in California?  My friend was telling me this past weekend that they built a green charger - it was an old Charger (no idea what year) body dropped onto the chassis and drivetrain of a new Charger SRT8.  We couldn't find pictures, but he said it was a green car - really awesome looking.  They built it for Gary Dourdan - plays Warrick Brown from CSI.  I was wondering if anyone saw it or could help me track down pictures.

This is all I can find.  Looks and sounds sick.  Its a '68, not a '67 like the site says.  My favorite year, too.

That site isn't showing me photos...  It might just be my computer/internet connection though.  I'll check it when I get home.

I'm not one for aftermarket rims, but those look nice.

They're ghetto-fabulous...  :)  Out in CA you GOTTA have rims if you're even partially a celebrity...  Bob Barker probably rolled around on DUB's...

LUV the color!  I saw the episode where they started to tear apart the new Charger but never saw the finished product.   :wow:

Thanks for the pics!

I like the stance of it - Chargers work well with big rims because of the wheelbase length.

I kinda like it.

ANybody know what they had to modify to get the under carriage of the new Charger to fit? Sure looks like it was going to be A LOT of work.

Not sure entirely, but I did read that they lengthened the original Charger body because the new charger has a longer wheelbase.

I think it was like 118" on the old to 120" on the new one.  Oh, and one has four doors, pretty sad, lol.
