TA Challenger and AAR 'Cuda radio antenna position
« on: April 26, 2004 - 06:53:50 PM »
Hello all you guys..... Looking for more information....... I have a friend that's making a clone AAR 'Cuda. He's getting ready to reposition the antenna. Does anyone have any pics of the reenforcement plate there and the routing of the antenna coaxial through the body to the front.....

Thanks in advance,
Troy

Theres some of the mounting brackets on eBay, but don't bid on it, this one is MINE, hopefully!!   ;D

As far as the exact position of the hole, I'd be interested, too, as I'm doing the T/A clone thing too.

I believe so.  Here's another auction for a bracket:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2477023265&category=33639
I asked him to put up another auction with a "Buy it Now" option, so I or you or someone could purchase it outright.  ;D

ALSO, Does anyone have the correct location for the rear antenna hole?  Geez, you think someone on here restoring a T/A or AAR would have a tape measure and a digital camera, too.   :P

This is for the T/A (AARs are different)

Edit;

Well the image will not load, so email me if you need it for a T/A.

Here is a link to the antenna cable routing;

I remember with my old T\A that the antenna hit the spoiler when the trunk was fully opened.
Hopes  that helps some…
