Yeah, in theory I guess. No amount of coaxing will make mine come off. Where can I get this special puller? It looks like that is the only way mine is coming off.

Does anyone know where to get this special puller as that seems to be the only way this one is coming off?

Alright, after giving up on this for awhile I finally got the materials to make my own puller. It worked very well. I was finally able to replace my ignition switch, but alas this doesn't seem to be the whole problem to the car not starting. I'll have to troubleshoot the wiring more. I thought you guys would like to see the puller I made to get the secondary piece of column off, but I also had a question. After putting most of it back together, it seems that the gap between the two pieces of column is too large. I don't have my Cuda here to compare it to (it's in storage at a buddies house) so I can't tell if this is normal or not, but it looks to big to me. It's tightened down all the way. Is this the normal gap?

Come on folks, will someone answer my question please. All of you have steering columns to check for me.
