What is the difference between a regular ignition and an a/c one?

A/c harness was a bigger wire to carry more amps for the a/c . They always are the harnesses that you find burnt up. Non a/c harnesses on non a/c cars never really had a problem more often than not.  Ever notice the connector on an ebody harness with a/c  it is usually turned brown where the wires go to the amp meter.

Ah ok, I had pictured in my mind the actual key switch lol. I should have known it was the wiring harness switch, I just replaced mine in my 97 Cheby truck about 2 months ago.
