Are different types of bolt kits available?
« on: February 09, 2008 - 11:55:54 PM »
I will soon start to reassemble my Cuda. I didn't take it apart, but I can see that a lot of bolts are missing. Does anyone make specific bolt kits, like "engine compartment"?

Second choice would be some type of listing of bolt sizes, and where they are used.

Thanks. Definitely a good start.

Does anyone know if there is some type of list of all bolt sizes used on an ebody? Maybe one of you guys that have a restoration shop can keep track the next time you tear apart an ebody. This is all that would be needed. Location, diameter, length, thread, type, grade, quantity.

I'd be willing to pay $10 for a comprehensive list like that, because it would make life so much easier.

You could do it with other cars as well.

I think there is a book with fasteners for 70 e-bodies.  If you know what you need, you may be able to send a list to R/T Specialties.  I was at a show a few years ago and they knew exactly what I needed.
