hey guys, beautiful country around here. we went to the chapel hills mall and did some shopping earlier. saw the turnoff to both the usaf acadamy and garden of the gods. we plan on checking them out if time allows. i have not rented a car and taking cabs will bleed me dry soon i fear. i did hear tha fargos is excellent so i plan on eating there tomorrow maybe. i would love to visit with someone but even if i were to rent a car i dont know diddly about the area. having fun so far though. thanks again for the suggestions on what to see.

Too bad you don't have wheels. Boulder is the place. But... Garden of the gods is somethin' to do.Hopefully the weather warms up,I need to prime/paint. Relax, kick back. Put your feet up,chill. Doing nothing is a skill unto itself.Let me know if you get bored. You can prep. some stuff for me... :smilielol: J/K.

:2thumbs: If you rent a car and drive around you will enjoy it. BUT BEWARE, to put driving there in a biblical sense it is: the quick and the dead.  :roflsmiley: Be on your toes and the accellerator.  :2thumbs:

Got back late last night. Had great weather and a great time. I had no idea that Spencer Penrose had such a big impact. Anyone who started the Pikes Peak race cant be too bad. On one of the few trips outside the Broadmore area I did see a black A-body Barracuda but that was my only Mopar sighting. Thanks to everyone who suggested places to go. I did not go to the Academy but Fargos was cool and Garden of the Gods was spectacular.
