Mopar Madness 2008
« on: February 28, 2008 - 06:35:03 PM »
Hey folks this attachment (I hope it's there) is for the ALL MOPAR show at the Virginia Motorsports Park on August 23rd & 24th, 2008 in Petersburg, VA.  :droolingbounce:It is the summer Mopar Madness 2008 sponsored by the Tidewater Mopar Club. It is a show & drag racing and Virginia's biggest (and best) all Mopar show & drag racing event. This is a really cool event. There will also be a vendor section and swap meet. Overnight camping is available on site with shower facilities. I have enjoyed this event for years and the drag racing adds to the fun. This is sponsored by my car club, so if there are any questions about the show, just send me a PM.  :2thumbs:

That's 3 hours from me. I'll wait and see what 93 octane gas costs by then before I commit.

So Matt, we could race our Chally's against each other??   :naughty:

Sure,
Why not!  :burnout: Last two years I've been unable to run down the track. Two years ago the rain prevented me from a track run. It was a two day event, but I had to work the 2nd day, so I couldn't make it back to the track to try again. Then last year I lost my from wheel on the way to the track. I was actually about 5 miles from the track on interstate 460. And I was supposed to be a judge for the show!! I still made it, but couldn't run. This year SHOULD ( I say that softly & with crossed fingers) be different. I'll be ready with new aluminum heads, new cam, new tranny, new carb & new rear end. Should be interesting!!  (can I cut an 11:90??) :2thumbs:
