Hi Guys,

Just wondering what year Barracuda and Challenger did not have intrusion bars in the doors. Was it for 1970 or 1969 production run..................

If your talking the crash bracing I know the 70 and up Challengers have them. I would guess that the 70 and up Cudas have them also. My 68 Road Runner does not have them, at least I don't think so. I'm not sure about the 60's Cudas.

Yes i am talking about the crash bracing. Just wondered if the early 70 cars built in 1969 came with them or not as the hood was changed mid year aswell for not having crumple zones.

My Nov 1969 built Challenger has them. They are heavy muthas!

We have doors here aswell that have no glass in them, and was amazed at how heavy these doors are. I feel sorry for the A pillar post having to hold these doors up when fully opened..............................

70 and up. and each year they got heavier and heavier.
