Interior Plastics / Dash ?

I am trying to see what resources you guys know of for Interior Parts for the 70 r/t challenger I am currently redoing. It was originally b5 w/ blue interior and i would like to keep it this way. Heres what im starting with so as you can see i need to do something about the dash (get recovered, buy new, etc). Also the plastics although all there are starting to chalk a bit, should i try to restore them or is their an outlet for new correct color ones (or should i dye the black ones that were in it. ) I have seen year one's catalog, but would like to know all my options. As far as panels go I think Palco is one of the best although I don't if they make them in blue.  Legendary is probably your best bet for seat covers.  I bought a repro dash from Year One and it was very nice and very expensive.  I can't remember who made it.  Again I don't know what is available in blue.  You could probably paint the plastic pieces but that would seem a shame and I don't know how well it would wear.  You might want to pony up for good used plastic pieces if they can be found.

I went on the cheap to redo my panels.  I have the blue interior also.  I was told to look on the back of the plastic interior panels to get an idea of what the actual color blue was.  Here's a pic:



I went to VIP Auto Parts and found that Plasti-Kote has an interior vinyl paint that matches it almost exactly and costs about $5 a can, plus you have to get the paint prep for the plastic.

Any pics of the panels after you painted them super blue ? I see alot of stuff on year one, legendary, and dantes. Just trying to make up my mind on the parts to splurge on now, and the ones to cheap out for another day. For right now I just want to get into weekend driver shape, the body and paint are in the process of being done right now. Have set of foose nitrous old schools for it, will need to do a 4 whl disk upgrade in the future pro touring-esque. It is a # match R/T with buildsheet so I cant do anything crazy to the mtr which was just refreshed with a purple cam and aftermarket intake/carb, headers. Other than that stock, also have a 70' A/C bracket, lines, compressor for the 383. So thats the direction this project is going. But I would like to keep the interior original and am using this as my guide  :

If the panels still have a pretty good texture to them I would re-paint them. Originals are far nicer than repros.

Sorry, I don't have any pics after I painted them.    Bu tI will say this.  The finish after I painted them from what I remember does not look like the finish in the pic you last posted.  Mine have less of a metallic look to them.  If I can I see if I have time to snap a pic of them.  I have to dig them out of the garage.
