How do the door panel clips work
« on: February 29, 2008 - 04:48:39 PM »
I'm trying to figure out how the one door panel clip that fits on the internal top part of the panel works?  I've posted two pictures.  I think the first picutre is the correct way, but I'm having a heck of a time getting that clip to clip around anything and the door panel to fit.  Any suggestions????

it faces inward towards the interior & clips onto the steel inner door frame

Thanks Chryco,
Are the clips only designed and used on the drivers side?  I only have one clip,is there suppose to be three on the driver side panel.  Is this system universal on 70-74 cuda & challengers?  Thanks a bunch!!!!!

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I'm working on my door panels, and it turns out I only have one of these clips on each panel in the middle.  It looks like there are actually mounts for 3 clips on each side.  Does this sound correct?  Also, what are these called, and does anyone repop these?  Thanks.

First place to look for little stuff like that is R/T Specialties.

Good Luck trying to get R/T Specialties to acknowledge that they are even alive and breathing. I have resigned myself to look elsewhere as his reaction is so slow (actually it is a consistent zero so far-phoning or email) I thought I might die of old age before he responds.

Well, I don't know if the response is any better for him, but Az-Nick is an R/T Specialties rep (see the Companies thread).  He could go through Nick - Nick is The Man!  OK, maybe Al is The Man.  Or CP. Or 4C. Or April...  OK, so April's not The Man, but still.  We gotta lot great people here.    :dogpile:

But, when it's my turn, I'll try getting them through Nick.   :2thumbs:
