small bolts at the defroster vents.Drop/pull the column. One bolt on each side.Dis-connect the wiring clips n' stuff and pull it out. Pretty easy actually.  I'm sure some will chime in. I'm no expert.   It's way easier with the windshield out. But can be done by midgets with small hands.   Comes out just like the Demon if it had a factory dash.    R/T

When I took mine out, (windshield still in) I used a wrench with a socket that could be tilted on one end to get the front bolts out near the windshield. I tried alot of different ideas and this one seemed the best way to get at em.
Also need to drop the steering column down of course.

If you remove the studs that hold the steering column to the dash, you can remove the dash without pulling the column by loosening the two bolts at the base where it attaches to the firewall adapter. Unbolt the fusebox from the firewall, unplug the harness fron the engine compartment, and disconect the rear harness from behnd the drivers side kick panel. There will be some plugs here and there to disconnect as well, blower motor, door switches, speedo cable, vent controls etc. The heater box stays in the car. It's possible to get the defroster vent bolts with a long 1/4" extension, ratchet and 1/4" drive 3/8" wobbly socket (has universal built into it).
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....
