New parts are fun.
« on: April 08, 2008 - 12:19:14 PM »
I just got these from FedX yesterday. They are for my truck. I have a set of Pace Setter painted ones on it know. They have been there for almost 5 years and one develpoed a crack  where the tubes welds into the collector. So I decided to get these Stainless Steel ones. They are far better construction than the Pace Setters are. Now I just need to get them changed!

The shorties look cool, but I wonder how much difference they would make over the stock manifold?   :dunno:

The truck has a 5.9.  I have them installed and it's great not to listen to that darn noise. It was way louder than a tic and it drove me nuts all winter.

The ad for the headers said 15-20 more HP. I really dought it though. I do know since I installed headers and the cold air systen the on the highway gas milage improved a quite bit.
