Anyone notice the challenger in American Gangster? there is a challenger parked outside the diner that he keeps going in. good movie, and a challenger to boot.

i liked the movie alot i never noticed the challenger tho time for a reviewing  :thumbsup:

Yes!! I did notice it had "larger" wheels though... I really liked the B5 68 Charger that went cruising through at one point under the subway overpass. The vinyl top was peeling off, it looked like a good project to me.

and the 63 Dart, and the SWEET 71 Dodge Truck that cruised through a few times.... oh and the police cars were all chrysler, and there is a 67 4 door Coronet taxi cab. what else......

you know, with all of the cars out there, how com we never get asked to be a "car extra" or something  :dunno:
I always hoped Berry Levinson would tap me on the shoulder one day.... I had a 67 Coronet that would have been great in the background, not to mention a Challenger........

I noticed it actually. I leaned over and told my girlfriend it wasn't correct for the movie. I believe that particular part of the movie was supposed to be 1968.

I saw it in another scene as well.

Denzel Washington is an incredible actor as well. I really liked him in Man On Fire.

You guys forget about the 71 Charger in the parking lot early in the movie, when they find all the cash in the trunk of the car.
