70' Cuda Hood Insulation
« on: April 12, 2008 - 09:26:36 PM »
My 70' Cuda doesn't have any insulation under the hood.  It has the rallye hood (not shaker, not flat).  Did these come with insulation?  If so, where is a good place to get a repop kit and all the fasteners needed to hold it in place?   :clueless:

Thanks

The underhood insulation was an option that came with the factory undercoating, I forgot the code for it.  Check and see if your car has factory undercoating, then it came with underhood insulation, if it is painted underneath then no insulation.  I see kits for these on ebay often.

Dantes always carries some of the best available products from what I've seen.

If you are going to put it on, get the molded one, not the furry rag that looks like sasquatch.  There is a guy on ebay selling the molded ones with clips for around 60.00.  You can get it with or without the air cleaner cut-out.  I got one and it fits like a glove
