Gary, the car turned out beautifully.  Only you can answer if you're shorting yourself, given how much time and money you have in the car.  I know if I had the money, I'd write you a check for $13-5 right now.      And I'm generally pretty skeptical about paying a bunch of money on a car.

Frankly, if it were me, I'd probably ask at least $20k.   :money:

:wow: great oictures and priced for a quick sale.  Maybe $15,500 would be a good starter price for the Raod Chicken clone. :2thumbs:

Thanks for the feedback guys.  The main reason I am pricing it that way is to sell it pretty quickly plus it still needs a few things like the underhood components to make the Air Grabber work properly (currently it is more of an Air Flapper since it kind of bounces up and down when driving :roflsmiley:  ), the back seat needs new foam (the covers I put on it sag), it could use a new exhaust system since I just re-used the dual setup that was under it already, plus I don't have a radio for it and there is no A/C.  Of course, I also need the money for some bills.  Additionally,  I also need some money to start on the #'s matching 70 R/T Challenger I am going to be building for sale as well.  I've already got a lot of the parts I need for it but the original engine and trans both need a rebuild and I am not going to try it myself.

I guess it's about time to start an official "For Sale" thread for the RR   :horse:

BTW - Here is the next project on the list. I haven't done anything to it since this picture was taken. I ended finishing and selling the Pro Street Challenger and then started on the RR Clone.  I was hoping to be able to keep this one so I kind of put it to the side.  Since I don't have the fender tag or build sheet I am considering a color change for purely re-sale purposes.  What do you guys think?  I've already got a black interior and vinyl top.  Keep it FK5 Dark Burnt Orange?  Paint it FE5 Rallye Red?  Heck maybe FY1 Top Banana?  Or do I dare Black?

A numbers matching R/T appeals to a collector more than an enthusiast.  The collector will perfer the original color on a numbers matching car.  If it has the wrong color a real collector will deduct the refinishing cost from what they want to pay.  On the other hand an enthusiast will pay more for certain colors.  In this market today I would recommend researching on how you will come out ahead with the Challenger.  Pick a target market and go for it; collector correct or enthusiast. As you know I have been following the prices very carefully.  The market hasn't settled enough to really know where things are.  Prices are all over the place.  In 1990 when the dust settled after the drop in collector cars, correct cars held the most value.
