    well, at least it's in a body shop, I'm guessing the guy has some sense of it's value?

    this car is now in arizona and is owned by Dave Blake who also owns a plum R/T hemi ragtop,,,,magazines

    YEP! That's the same car alright! I was shocked to see another one, I thought you knew of a new one, what's the deal on the Challenger tag you posted?

    I talked to Dave Blake at this car show right after he bought it (that pic was taken back around 1983-84 at the Phoenix Autorama car show) he said he just bought the car and gave the guy JUST enough money to buy a new 1984 Corvette (The guys "dream" car) those cost around 25k back then......can you say STEAL! Of course back then 25k seemed insanely high for ANY Cuda.

    Did you know the guy who purchased the car new was a vacuum cleaner sales man,Purchased new in Toronto.
    A friend of mine wanted to buy the car ,but couldn't come up with the 18.000 $$ asking price at the time,  ????????????
    Funny how 2 orange hemi ragtops 1-cuda--1 chall R/T
    were ordered in the same city...
    Out west ( canada ) theres another 71 hemi rag...
    It is a tubbed racecar..
    Purple 70 R/T chall hemi rag  that was sold new in  Quebec is now in the U.S  as well as the seldom seen 70 R/T hemi Challenger Ragtop sold new in Nova Scotia went to New Jersey. to Walt Downer who also owns a 71 hemi cHALL r/t
    ev2 ,SHAKER ,SUNROOF,SPOILERS,THE WORKS  .
