    First post guys so be kind. I know that the post that runs between the rear view mirror and the base that screws to the headliner area is silver. Is the base itself supposed to be silver as well or black to match the headliner?

    My first thought is silver but mine is a SE with the over head console   ???

    The base with the three screw holes should be silver. :)
