73 Challenger emblem ?

I have seen quite a few pictures of 73 Challengers with the "Challenger" script on the rear quarters near the side marker lights.  Is this supposed to be there, and are they stuck on with adhesive, or are they a post type emblem ?
Any pictures, diagrams would also be appreciated.

Yes they are supposed to be there and yes they stick on. It is quite a job to install replacement sticky tape as it cannot show past the letters as it will look terrible. I may use some super sticky contact glue on the old sticky tape or else simply buy new emblems. I do not have the location diagram.
