Two questions
« on: April 23, 2008 - 10:48:29 PM »
Should my trunk tosion rod sliders be painted, or was the guy that painted it lazy?  Also my underhood insulation had a precut hole in the center of it, should that part be removed?  I hope so, because it fell out when i was installing it?

the sliders are insatlled after paint so he was lazy
the round part of the pad is usually left in place unless hood clearnce is an issue , sounds like it was cut to deep

I didn't think they were painted either, but it looks like a common mistake.  I can live with it.

When they went through the paint shop the bars needed to be on so the trunk could stay up by itself, the painter didn't spend too much time inside the trunck though.   :misbehaving:
