Drop Spindle yet?
« on: April 25, 2008 - 01:03:25 PM »
I was reading through my May 2008 issue of car craft and it had Jonathan LaPaglia's 72 challenger. According the the the magazine the front suspension is "Firm feel uper controle arms, boxed lowers, 2 inch drop spindles, and a 1 inch sway bar". Is there finaly a drop spindle? I didnt notice anything about a different k frame.   thanks

2" drop spindles are being made by Fatman Fab. These are the same street rod style spindle they have been offering for about 7-8 years now. They will hold up fine to casual cruising and show use. I don't know that I'd want to use them in an auto cross or road race situation though. Funny thing is 8 years ago they were $200 a pair. Now they are $500 a pair.

Magnumforce is rumored to be working on a drop spindle as well, but has yet to formally release it.
