Good Lord!
It's a no option "nice driver" and isn't even a real shaker car.  :gripe:
$199,999.00 and reserve not met. 2 hour to go, any takers?
Amazing.

Burpin' better find that 'vert b4 I start looking.  :boxer:
Jobsite changed from El Paso to Fort Worth, so I'm close enough to smell a decaying mopar withing a 50 mile radius.  Just kidding Burpin', I'll help ya look tho.

Did you notice that the auction is for a "full resto" on the car also? That said, i hear ya...lots of $$ for a small block car. And I have no idea how that would work out as far as having this guy restore it...how are you supposed to know what kind of work he does, is the $$ up front, or paid as the resto moves along, etc...? I'd take that ragtop challenger hemi clone for $67K that sold on B-J the first day over that car anyday.

Yeah, on the link to other pictures he's even throwing in a new set of 15" rallies too.  :wasted:

Not sure why the prices on these mopars keeps shocking me, last week when I first saw the auction it was just over $100K and I thought "wow" that's a lot of money. Perspective is everything.

And the really scary part is....."RESERVE NOT MET"   I gotta wonder if this is for real, or a setup?

Shill bids drove up the price.  Reserve was probably $200k, and the shill bidders knew not to reach the reserve.

Phony.

Wow! :puke:  That would have been a ton of money for even a 340 4 speed convert.  I could see mid $40's, but not that much! :dontknow:
