Way past march 30th...

Sorry for no race video.   A quick explanation is in order.   :grinyes:   The 1st weekend in March, I was unloading the Beast from the trailer at a cruise-in and it started making a funky noise.  I put it back up and brought it home.  I removed the valve covers and found the tip of # 8 exhaust valve loose.  I then removed the top end of the engine and took the heads to the machinist.  No damage done, other than that 1 broken valve tip.  I am having the valves replaced and the heads checked over completely.  The machinist said they were like new and it would be an easy repair.  I am still waiting to get thet heads back.  Maybe in the next week or so I'll have them back.  Prolly take a week or two for me to get it back together.  Long story short:  the car engine was apart and I was unable to attend the event.  There will be another one in November that I hope to attend.  I also had PINKS all out racers ticket for this upcoming race at Commerce. (Atlanta Dragway).  I won't be racing there either.    :crying:

I just heard today that there are several hundred cars registered to race.  It might need to be a two day event to let everyone show off.
