I would imagine the emissions wouldn't be too hard as it's a supercharged Honda Type R engine or something.  Those engines non-supercharged are pretty clean engines, I believe used in current U.S. cars now.  If the superchargers are an issue I wonder if they can import them without the superchargers then owners can install their own, that is if they don't run clean enough.

I would be more worried about meeting crash requirements/safety requirements.  :grinyes:

Good point.  They might be able to find a way around the safety standards, since a company is not directly selling them here.   :dunno:

First step: add a bumper that'll withstand a 5mph crash!

This might speed up the process to get this thing over here!  :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:  :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

I think I'd sell my Challenger to get one of those!

OK, maybe not - but  :wow:

And does that guy have like the best job in the world?  I love that Top Gear show - too bad we only see it on YouTube.

It's coming.......TMI AUTOTECH, Inc. announces; The new Ariel Atom 3 North American manufacturing & sales headquarters will be at the Virginia International Raceway's Raceplex. That's about a 2 hour drive from my house!!! It would be fun to see if they offer a plant tour or better yet.....a free ride!!!!

Yes, I read that they were bought by a Canadian company, and were going to manufacture them in Virginia. The most expensive model will be around $45k if I remember correctly.
