Heat cycled it a few times.  Put teflon tape and thread sealer on.  It came up to temperature and seemed fine.  When I shut it off it was sizzleing from the same spot above #3 spark plug but not nearly as bad.  I backed off the header bolt and the sound changed.  I tightened it back up and the sizzleing stopped although the engine had cooled down a bit.  Pretty sure it was/is the header bolt.  I'll mess with it some more.  Ought to get it to seal sooner or later.  Maybe I'll take out the bolt and thicken up the bolt a little more.  They were still pretty easy going in even after I doctored them.  Got some mild wisping on the passenger side and I have no tape on that side.

not to insult you or anything but are you wrapping the thread tape in the right direction so when you thread in it goes with the thread and not against it???

I would never take any advice as an insult as I appreciate it all.  I think I wrapped it right but I'll check because I could of got it wrong.  Sometimes I wess up my mords too.  You never know.
