71 CUDA ENGINE HARNESS

I HAVE A 71 BARRACUDA. I FRIED THE ENGINE HARNESS,WHEN I WENT TO ORDER THE NEW HARNESS , I COULD NOT DECIDE BETWEEN REGULAR HARNESS AND HARNESS MODIFIED FOR ELECTRONIC IGNITION I HAVE MSD IGNITION BUT SEEMS INDEPENDENT  OF HARNESS . WHAT EXACTLY DO THEY CHANGE TO MODIFY THE HARNESS FOR ELECTRONIC IGNITION

they would add the 2 wire plug to the dist & the 5 pin plug for the ECU , neither of which is needed to make the MSD work

thanks for the info,so if i order the regular harness, will it have the same alternator clips because i noticed on the modified harness it said "must use a 70 or later style alternator" but the regular harness did not                            '

the std harness will work fine with the MSD, you will need to connect the power from both the blue 12 v wire & the brown start wire at the ballast to the red MSd switch wire
if you use the old style Alt & reg the wiring for the reg will be wrong
