Sebring Convertible Seats
« on: May 03, 2008 - 08:40:38 AM »
This question has been posted before. I have a 1971 Challenger Convertible, I'm planing on using Sebring Convertible seats in it. I can solve the electronic issus with the retractors and the pretentioners.

I was wondering if anyone else here has used these seats and could post pictures?

Thanks!

There was an orange '73 Challenger that did this in one of the Mopar magazines about a year and a half ago.  I'll see if I can find it.

Delaney Auto Design has used them in a couple of their builds.
Here's a link to the 'vert Challenger. I also have some pics of the seats with dimensions but they're on my work computer. Let me know if you need them. They really vary in price on Ebay-sometimes very reasonable. I think I have an article about the electronic features and how to integrate them also. I think the new Sebrings may have a more integrated seat belt like the current BMWs use.

I see the link didn't post to the actual arcticle on Delaney's vert Challenger. Go to articles on that site and then click on the SRT-8 Mania Mopar Collector's Guide article.

Thanks MoparCar for the pictures.

I was also looking for some pictures of the seats in a challenger.

I went ahead and got a set of seats for trial fit.

The 2008 Sebring Seats are sweet, but I really don't want to deal with the side airbag inflators
