Personally, i wasnt a fan of Epoxy. it was gummy, even after setting a while. I like Self Etching Urethane, it sanded well and it etches..  :poopoke: anyway, I didnt use the same manufacturer for primer to paint. But, i was on a budget so maybe that wasnt the "money" way to go... I used Dupont base/clear on mine, But im hearing good things about PPG. As for top coats, the base and first layers were grey urethane. My last "final blocking" coats were a "tinted" primer. it helped alot, I used Light Blue "Robins Egg" color, If you do that, you wont use as much paint to get your color......

Just a thought. And its not that the car has 6 coats of primer, Its just that you find yourself hitting a few spots over and over to block...
